We received the shocking news that Edgar Acevedo from AMDUSCIA died unexpectedly last Thursday after a short, but severe illness. It is needless to say that we are totally baffled, as to us, Edgar was not only a unique musician but also a good friend and an absolutely reliable partner. Polo informed us that he will continue Amduscia in memory of Edgar and that he will also play the festival dates that were scheduled for the band. The new Amduscia-Album that the duo finished recording just prior to Edgar´s death will now be the legacy of this very special, young artist that passed away much too soon. Rest in peace, Edgar and we hope that they have unlimited supplies of your favourite beer for you, where ever you are…

Friends,
After a lot of contemplation and discussion, we have decided that it is in our best interest and those of our fans to make Amduscia a two-person project.

We would like to thank Raul for his contributions of lyrics these last 10 years that have helped to make Amduscia the success that it is, and we wish him the best of luck in the future.

Of course, we will continue to provide you with the same crazy, floor-thumping beats and twisted themes you expect of us, so get ready to dance, motherfuckers!!
